A freelance illustrator and cartoonist

Saffron Swire is a London-based journalist, editor and illustrator. Her cartoons and illustrations have been previously published in The Economist, Tortoise, New Statesman and Reaction. 

 

While studying for her master's degree in journalism, she craved an artistic outlet to sketch a path into the world of satire and began posting doodles on Instagram. She has since covered two general elections, one pandemic, and caricatured everyone from Gwyneth Paltrow to Donald Trump and Boris Johnson (no one is safe).
